King Arthur and His Knights

The characters are legendary: King Arthur, Lady Guinevere, the wizard Merlin, the sorceress Morgan le Fay, the Knights of the Round Table. Their stories are rich in magic and intrigue.

In one adventure, Arthur will lose his life unless he can discover the answer to this riddle: What do women most desire? Arthur asks many people and receives many different answers. Some say that women chiefly desire wealth. Some say beauty. Some say the power to please others. Feeling that none of the answers is right, Arthur searches on. But time is running out. Follow along as we join King Arthur and his Knights on their adventures.

Discussion Questions:

1. King Arthur and His Knights is, in part, a story about how a young king learns to become a successful ruler. How does Arthur become a successful ruler? What does this suggest about how leaders can effectively govern in our own time?

2. In the book, magic can be used for both good and evil. When is it used for good? When is it used for evil? Are there any occasions where magic does not have the effects intended? Explain.

3. Why is the Round Table important in the story? What does it represent to King Arthur and his knights?

4. Maintaining one’s self-control was as important in the world of King Arthur as it is today. Which characters in King Arthur lose self-control? How? What are the consequences of their loss of self-control?

Ok, I have heard about Morgan Lee Fay before, but this is going to be awsome! Arther is doing a great job in being king and lady Guinevere. This is a great book and I love it. I heard of some of King Arther's tales, but nothing like this! Merlin is a awesome wizard, or whatever he is. I can't wait to see what happens next!

I love the " Code of Chilvary ". But I think not many knights like to follow it except King Arthur and the knights of the round table. And I really don't like Morgan. She is just so evil. The nerve of that woman. I also agree with Mercedez about Vivein. I still wonder why she did not help Merlin.

This is the first book that I ever really was into. Howard Pylethe arthour is so smart with his words very detailed. I litterally cried when accolon died. She was so unfair when she gave King Arthour the medicine and not Accolon. I need to catch up on my reading so i can get on the same page as some of you.

King Arther became a grat king with the help of his friends though it is sad that some died and some left. I am happy for Gawain and his new wife. King Arther never really gets a break in this story does he? Well, at least Pallis or somthing like that got to be with the love of his life, even though he had to become part fairy to do so. I adored this story and thought it was wonderful. It had happy and sad endings for everyone. Like Merlin who got trapped in a coffin with arock on top never to be seen again, or Gawain who found his ture love, because of the kindness in his heart. I don't like Morgan Lee Fay though I mean seriously, her and Vivien have caused a lot of trouble in this book. King Arther became a great ruler and his round table of faithful knights who promise to be kind to the weak and couragous to the strong! I loved how they promised to look out and defend each other! I liked King Arther's bride Lady Guinevere. She was a little harsh though, but good all the same. I wish the book told more about what happens in different adventues!

this book is not what I thought it was going to be. It was still good though. I really liked King Arthur and his Knights They were really cool. Morgan was so mean and Merlin didn't seem to smart to me. All of the Knights were awesome! This was a really good book.
